Last night we hit Rubber Gloves. The big hit of the night was the opening of Record Hop's set, where a video (provided by Martin Iles) projected behind the band showed a drum set in a field being shot to pieces by a machine gun, which bled into the first song for Record Hop & set the tone for the rest of the set. It's been a while since I've seen a crowd that large and that excited facing down a hometown rock band. A night like that does my heart good. Tonight I'll most likely split my time between the show I'm playing and Dan's Silverleaf, hopefully scoring a little BBQ while I'm over there. Check the post below for everything going on tonight. |
